In this post I would like to share with you some very good blogs that was written in order to educate about issues related to Media and Society. I really recommend to all of my readers to visit these blogs. First blog that I really recommend is the blog of Perizat Balabayeva. In her blog she reveals a topic of false representation of Native Americans in Media. Ethnic stereotypes have been and perhaps always will be. Perhaps there is not a single society on our planet who would not feel it on personal experience. However, the American Indians - the indigenous people of North America - were stereotyped to such an extent that all their tribes and the people might form a single image - in most cases a false one. I think that this topic is very popular nowadays as people spend most of their time online, especially young generation. Third blog that caught my attention is the blog about negative impact of media on youngsters by Nikolay Popov. He clearly describes harmful effects that media cause, provides interesting and informal examples and provides the audience with video that shows an aggressive behaviour of teenagers while playing invasive online games.

Fourth blog that seemed interesting yo me is the blog of Nabiha Sarraj about stereotypical portrayals of women. Nowadays, media dictates women what to do and how to behave, so a lot of women and teenage girls end up changing their life goals and world view. Fifth blog that I would recommend is the blog of Adela Liskova. In her blog she writes about false portrayals of people on Instagram. This issue is very relative nowadays because a lot of teenagers and even adults spend the majority of their time scrolling different 'beautiful' pictures that in reality are photoshopped. The topic of her blog is really vital because on Instagram there are many unreal representations of other's lives, so people become unsatisfied with their life, appearance and job. I really recommend my readers to visit Adela's blog in order to raise public awareness of such false representation of one's life.
